So I have a little book where I intended to write a small entry every day. But for the past one month, I didn't pick it up. I admit I even forgotten about it until this week. That is because I was so occupied with my final year project that I basically just abandon everything else, and that includes my other subjects. Though I am still paying attention in class, I would be lying if I said I focused. I missed doing some assignments because I forgot that I had to check Google classroom for them. My coursework marks aren't very good. My group works aren't any better. Nobody to blame but myself, yet I find myself enjoying this semester despite the grades being lower than I would have liked.
I made new friends. Friends that invited me to hang out with them when we were waiting for classes. Friends that I never thought I would befriend. I have classes with my Foundation friends and it feels great that we can chat as most of my friends have different majors. I feel surrounded and accepted, and I am so happy.
I keep reminding myself that I need to study better for exams, as my coursework mark is usually high. Life is funny like that. But like always, I'll be soldiering on.
Yesterday I picked up some plants from JustPlant. Last week they offered to sell 9 pots for RM18, pots of out-of-shape, funky, but otherwise healthy succulents. Naturally I was interested as I like propagating and separating them. I thought it would be fun to get random succulents! There was a picture but I couldn't identify some of them. I like the thought of me not knowing - it's like getting a gift hahaha.
All week, I was looking forward to getting them. When I got them, I had so much going on in my mind, so much things to say, so I decided, alright I'm going to do some 'unboxing' video. It would be nice to get it all out of my head, and so this morning I did. Luckily there were no neighbours around or it would have been so awkward. I'm not confident! I'm not someone who can speak comfortably in front of a camera. But I tried, and it was okay. I'm glad I did it. Just going to wait until I repot them all to combine the videos together as one.
