'Cause it didn't feel like it.
By the way, I have gotten smarter as I write my thoughts down now whenever I have them so that I actually remember things!
WEEK 3
MONDAY
It has become more bearable to sit for 5 hours after lunch. Maybe because I'm occupied most of the time and I've fallen in line with this mundane schedule. Proudly, I am now able to relay some issues to the animation team by myself without my supervisor having to put in a note for me! And of course, I have gotten quicker at sending files to the render farm. *pats back*
Our render farm software thingy is called Deadline Monitor so every morning I shudder typing the word 'dead' at the search bar. I try to type 'dea' instead.
WEDNESDAY
The gang went to a place that I've never tried before. The sweet and sour chicken I had was surprisingly decent as I have my qualms about having sweet and sour chicken/fish rice in non-Chinese restaurants. The chicken was soft. We chatted about our Japan travels - it was entertaining hearing about their experiences. My heart yearns for Japan once again.
AJ and I were arranged to help in compositing but the next day, my supervisor - whom I shall address as Boon from now on - told us that they have enough hands so we were given the task of set shading instead. My first time!
THURSDAY
What is this feeling? Today I'm feeling especially happy. I wasn't feeling tired nor bored, I was doing some FYP work while I waited for renders, and I was listening to music without my ears hurting from the earphones. It's a wonderful morning.
During lunch in the pantry, I made a new friend, KK from Indonesia. Earlier this week, she brought banana cakes from home and shared it with everyone. Her sweet and feminine style attracted me the most when I first saw her. Sometimes she wears a ribbon on her hair and a long skirt!
FRIDAY
Maybe the reason I like going to work is because it feels like I'm hanging out with my friends during lunch time instead of merely a break. It is a refresher and life is fun once again.
Tell me the secrets of these balloons that never go out of air.
WEEK 4
TUESDAY
Had a stroll before work today.
THURSDAY
All the way to Dengkil for Chinese food! We ordered 4 dishes to share among 5 of us (egg, vege, tofu and a salted egg chicken which cost a bomb and left a hole in my wallet).
+1 New Friend obtained.
Sis's squash class was until 8PM so I asked Boon for a favour to drop me off at MMU. In the end, we had dinner together at Hinz and chatted as friends. It was a lovely memory.
FRIDAY
My homemade lunch! ❤︎
There are onion eggs underneath the cherry tomatoes.
