Day 4 - Safe and Sound

What do you do when you can't sleep at night? Do you count sheep? Toss and turn? Try to get up and do something productive?

I lie in bed for as long as I can and then I look out of my window. When I was in Foundation and still living at the hostel, I liked gazing out at the walkway below me because there were street lights. It wasn't a view that I was used to so I found that fascinating and somewhat calming. Ever since then I developed a habit of looking out the window because it makes me feel safe and stable as nothing is moving except for cars, which seemed slow at a far distance.

If I still can't sleep, then I will get on my phone and wait for things to catch my fancy.
