KL Journey & A Spontaneous City View

Recently I have been using the LRT to go to places, mostly to KL Sentral to visit TH after his internship work. I went yesterday when originally the plan was to go today but fortunately I went yesterday because it rained today. It is enjoyable for me to take the LRT alone and enjoy the view from above, but I can't help feeling dread whenever I walk alone or be outside alone because of the terrible news I see around me. I have to be as vigilant as I can, sometimes to the point of paranoia. I don't like it.

Anyway, his internship is going to end soon so that means I won't be coming to KL Sentral anymore, at least not anytime soon after that. The last time I hung out at KL Sentral was during Giang's internship 2 years ago, so I hold the central dear in my heart. It was and still is a happy place for me. =)

Usually I just look outside the window most of the journeys, but this time I took some pictures and videos! Recently I have a habit of compiling my videos in iMovie on my phone. I just wish they have more choices of default songs. No complains though, they kept me entertained!

When the LRT was at Subang, I looked out for my kindergarten and primary school. While I spotted my kindergarten, Q-Dees (although it was concealed by lush trees), I couldn't spot my primary school. Either I missed it or it just doesn't pass by there. Too bad...

I strolled around by myself while waiting for TH to off work. After we met up and couldn't find anything we wanted to eat at NU Sentral (a connecting mall to KL Sentral), and also because many people were berbuka puasa-ing (breaking fast), we ventured outside the mall and onto the streets. Finally spotted a Chinese restaurant that sold noodles and rice and went inside.

From there, we discussed our Penang trip because we are going to Penang soon! I'm excited for it as from Google, Penang looks significantly different than Selangor. Maybe all the touristy places are getting into my head. It seems like a cool place to hang out at. I booked a studio from Airbnb using my own money and I felt so accomplished HAHAHA.

After dinner, he brought me up to his office building (which I don't know the name of) unexpectedly. There was a Sky Garden, I think it was at Level 34. He had to use his access card to operate the elevators. It was so high class; the decor and atmosphere. There was me feeling so lucky and grateful to be inside such a clean and beautiful building.

The building we were at was right behind the national museum. I have been to the museum when I was younger and I remembered there was a maze with mirrors at the lobby. It can't be seen in the picture but at the bottom right, there was an irregularly shaped swimming pool. I think it's a hotel. It was somewhat tantalizing.

I literally was awe struck when I saw this view of the KL skyline. The photo does no justice! I can see the KL Tower and one of the Twins Tower! The view was more magical than I thought, probably made even more so by the dazzling and overtly bright lights from the cluster of buildings. Light pollution though. I stared at this view for a long time, and walked back and forth so I can unsee and see the buildings from behind a wall, making sure it's still very much there.

Later, we sat and chilled a while. I stood up on the half wall we were sitting on (in the middle of the place with all the plants) and suddenly he grabbed hold of my legs and spun me around. It was so scary as it felt like I was going to topple down that I closed my eyes and prepared to fall. But I did not, with relief.

We went back to his house to get his car. It was my first time to his house and also briefly meeting his Mom. Mostly, I spent my time with the cats and kittens. They have six.

Tom Tom, my first friend and favourite kitty! I carried it in my arms.

Scary, a scaredy cat. I tried befriending it but s/he dashed away when my shoes made sounds. Let's be friends soon!

Jerry that kept rubbing itself on my legs and bag. It was quite hard to photograph Jerry because s/he moves fast. S/he bit my ankle but I moved away as soon as I felt something on my leg. *shook*

Naughty, a cat who appeared later and whom I find to be a pleasure to photograph because of his photogenic nature and cool demeanor.

Mimi~ A pampered cat that attacks the younger ones. TH and his sister loves her and kept calling her with their baby voices.

They asked me to call her in that tone too but I was paiseh (embarrassed) LOL. In the end I did try to meekly call out to her as I was quite scared of her as she attacked the younger cats, and she did walk over to me. Yay!
