A Present For The Studio

My first batch of seashells

I spent most of yesterday compiling the videos I have from my work trip into a single video so that I could give them to the studio as a present. This will be my last month of working and I am grateful that I was able to work for a brief time there and got to make some friends and witness funny antics by the children.

There were just 5 children who went on the trip to Kuala Selangor and Sekinchan last Saturday; it was mostly us teenagers and adults. Am I still considered as a teenager? LOL. Perhaps not. I guess most of us will always be a teenager at heart. I still think I'm 16.

I have been to Kuala Selangor 4 years ago and I loved it then. After revisiting it, I still love it! The seaside houses and serene ambiance cannot be replaced and it remains as yet another happy place for me.

Jetty at Kuala Selangor

If given the chance to go for another trip with the studio, regardless whether I am working there or not, I would most definitely take up the offer if I happen to be free that time. By then most probably the kids would have forgotten about me, but that's OK! It's not like I'm very sociable now either hahaha.

Most of all, I am thankful that I was able to get closer to my colleagues because I didn't really approach them during work hours. Mainly because I am a shy person, and also they all speak Mandarin and though I do speak Mandarin, I am not good at it. Speaking of Mandarin, the tour was held in Mandarin and I am glad to announce that I actually understood 80% of the things that were said. Well sometimes they threw in an English word or so, so that helped tremendously. I wouldn't know that mangrove trees are called 'Red Trees' in Mandarin.

My first time to a paddy field!

I have seen paddy fields from the car when I was in Japan but this was my first time visiting one. We got to go into the fields and the kids ran around. I would trip and fall if I tried running lol.

Alright, time to be productive!
