So yesterday, a Tuesday, I held my first event meeting ever, for my division for my university's vicennial anniversary event. I'd never done it so I was a bit curious and also anxious because Aravind the Director is coming. It went OK, shortest meeting ever which lasted for 30 minutes only that even I was surprised, like "That's it?". Omg Aarun was surprisingly shy and I kinda forced some conversation so he have to talk to the other members but he's not even tryinggg. Bruh, please help me here.
He said why am I forcing him to be in such an awkward situation and I said I wanted to torture him.
But I hope he opens up soon. He's keeping in such a sassy personality. Which reminds me, today we went to lunch with Aarun, Ken and 2 other friends and when I sat into the car, Aarun's hand didn't retracted fast enough and I sat a bit on his finger and he was saying I'm using my butt to attack him. Which also reminds me that I accidentally touched his butt during the ghost house because I couldn't see where my hands are moving on the other side of the black plastic bags when I was trying to poke him HAHAHAHA.
Okay, so the meeting, Dayana (who is also in the Japanese Cultural Society) came late and we did the introduction again and I briefed her on some tasks. After a while everyone left and only 4 of us JCS people were left. Dayana started telling us how some JCS people were saying Ken likes my sis and that I have a boyfriend. I told her I am interested and curious to know who my boyfriend is too. I must have brought back a ghost from the ghost house because I don't recall being with anyone during that time. The only person I was with during ghost house was just Aarun and he's a biatch so he couldn't possibly be my bf.
And so I showed Dayana the person that could possibly be my bf :

She was like wtf HAHAHAHA. Which also brings me back to a Workplace Communication class where Miss Yee, our lecturer, asked us what are the qualities we look for in a boyfriend or a girlfriend and I mentioned... fictional.
Back on track, Dayana is refusing to tell us who said it but I am determined to find out. Watch out, people.
A very random thing happened today; we were walking back from class and a lady approached us suddenly and asked us if we are interested in being in a music video. I was a bit surprised obviously as I'd never had this sort of thing happened before. She is a part time student and worker so I think this MV is for her work. It's interesting though, we get to dance! I'm excited and hope it turns out good. :)
Somehow this year we received a lot of opportunities (I made RM100 from designing T-shirts hahaha) and I hope I'm not jinxing it by talking about it lol. This year has been busy and very diverse in terms of the things I do and the positions I hold so I am excited about it because it is so new to me. I even tried out for the Aspire Awards and got shortlisted along with Taseen and Tauseef (they contributed on a national and world level), can you believe it!? On the other side, maybe not a lot of people join and even if only 6 people joined, at least I am in the Top 5 hahaha. Something to be happy and proud about. <3 Now I can see my name up on the screen during MMU Awards.
Damn, I can't believe I sent in that nomination form. Thank you to Alynn our JCS club president who encouraged us to join and to my sister that made me feel like joining because we joined together albeit in different categories.
The Aspire Awards interview deserves it's own post because honestly, it was so intense I teared up, not because it was harsh or bad, but because it was too inspiring and emotional. I am so glad I joined and got to the interview itself. T^T
