I spent half of my day watching Noragami from episode 4 until the end. I ship Yato and Hiyori so much!! It's a pretty good anime and I guess it's good because I watched till the end hahaha. I love love love Yukine and he's sooo cute. It has been some time since I watched an anime and all the love just comes back. Quick synopsis: Noragami is about a poor God of Calamity, Yato, as he tries to get worshippers.
From here, I know about the word 'posthumous' which means something given after death, for example, a name or honour.
Noragami gave me the same feeling as Chihayafuru, which I loved. Chihayafuru still remains one of the best animes I watched and it's gonna get a movie! The movie looks awesome,
click here! The cinematography is amazing, and the characters look like their anime characters.
Yukine! I love his Divine Instrumental (Shinki) name; Sekki.
Sounds so cool whenever Yato summons him.
What I probably love most about Yukine is that he is real. He gets frustrated often and since he's a young, budding boy, he behaves like one. Shinki(s) are spirits who used to be humans, and since he is one, he has a desire to live like a human. He doesn't suddenly stop being whiny or greedy when people tells him of his habit and instead stays like that which I think is good for the storyline.
He also attempts illegal stuff because people don't really see him as he is a spirit which is something I would totally attempt if I was barely visible hahaha.
*silent scream*
I didn't ship Yato and Hiyori until the last few episodes. Ugh, Yato is cool when he is not being funny. Aside from the main characters, I feel like other characters don't get enough screen time so the story seems abrupt sometimes. I would love to see more development on other characters! That would be perfect. I especially would like to see more of the God of War, Bishamon.
She has so many Shinki it's like a small company.
It's a holiday well spent!
p.s. Omg I just found out there's a 2nd season and 2 OVAs. The 2nd season is focused on Bishamon! I think the Gods heard my wish.
