On Tuesday, I went into an engineer's lab for the first time. Giang brought us in because we wanted to take a look. Before going in, he had to scan a card at the door - oooh so high tech.
Very messy!
But there was a hidden charm to it. A lab to an engineer is what a home studio is to an artist; they have the same used and lived in feeling. It felt really personal and I like the space immediately. It's quiet and secure which reminded me of a secret clubhouse!! There were 2 other people doing their FYP, I think.
So many computers and electronic stuff...
I felt lucky though, because I don't know if I ever will have the chance if not for him bringing us in.
Volume 9, Chapter 37, Page 261 (Engineer's Lab)
Giang's FYP stuff.
We spent time poking through the stuff and asking him what the functions area and how to connect to the laptop and stuff. It has been a while since I come into contact with these apparatus and materials; since KHB (life skills) class in secondary school I think.
The fineness of the chips and mini parts amaze me!
