Volume 7, Chapter 29, Page 205 (First Time 'On-Road' Driving)

Dear Diary,

A cat just sat on my flats and now there's blood on it.

Today was my first kind of 'on-road' driving and also the accomplishment of one of the things on my driving bucket list; which is to drive around MMU compound. Lame I know, but for me it was but a dream. (Now it's a reality.)

Aarun drove Eli, sis and I to dinner before our dance practice session for I-Nite (an integration night for local and international people). I-Nite is next Friday and this is out first dance practice with the 4 of us. :3 We ate at Boat Noodles - Aarun put chili flakes into everyone's bowl and it was actually OK at first until the heat settles in. Then I put a lot and a few more into his last bowl until the flakes are so visible. How exciting.

Knowing that we couldn't dance right after dancing, we conveniently spent our time at the arcade hitting on drums (hmmm) at Taiko no Tatsujin. My best combo was 140++ and I got a 6-digit number with 4 in front for that particular game. #patsback It was Miku's Melt. (Usually I just get 6-digit numbers with starting number 2.)

So when we all felt it was enough, we went back to school, to FCI ('computer faculty') to danceee. It was a good dance. It was initially hard because I couldn't get used to the placing with 4 people and was basically just a mess. To counter this problem, we laid out slippers evenly to mark places. After some practice, when we felt that we were good enough for recording and analyzing, we recorded and analyzed.

The dance was better than we thought and I was proud of it. Just have to further brush up some parts and practice more to be more united and we are good to go. :) Ganbatte minna!

And as the title said, I went driving! Sis and I did using Aarun's car. He was unexpectedly nice to allow us, saying that it was because he trusts us. Okay la, I was a bit touched. I drove a little more than a round in MMU and was as happy as anyone could be driving around school, and maybe happier. It's a dream come trueee~

I knew the parts I needed to take extra care of and was definitely my most chill ride ever. My feet wasn't tense and I was leaning back sometimes so that's good in a way.

Thank you, Aarun!

Just now while we were doing assignments late into the night (it's already 3:11am as of current), KC created a group chat with sis and I and asked if we could be the photographers of the 30-hours Famine DIY Camp. It's quite a big event, as expected of an event held by an established and well-known club (The Chinese Language Society - aka CLS). It was quite a bit of a shock considering KC could be considered a lecturer himself, albeit just a temporary one I think.

The camp starts next weekend but on Friday, there is a briefing that we don't have to go if we can't make it (because we told him we have I-Nite activities). So goodbye sleep, hello new things!

Me with Mag (a boy), my granduncle's new pup!

I felt so in love when I saw him and the quote that stated "you couldn't say anything for sure" applies here so much because poodles were one of my most hated dog breed as they were portrayed as bitchy, scary, sharp-teeth dogs in the cartoons/books I saw/read. Go childhood! But he was the dearest thing I've seen and so in my heart, he joined the ranks with Light and Mocha.
