Listening to the Idol Dance song in Kyoukai no Kanata makes me want to blog about today.
Eli, sis and I performed to promote the Japanese Cultural Club at 12pm - was kinda nervous and excited at the same time, expectedly. The first person I saw was Giang, holding his phone. (Btw, we informed a bunch of friends we will be performing "so please drop by to see"!) While waiting to go on stage, we saw CC (whom I got to know waaay back in a convention from even before I joined MMU) and he motioned that he is going to take a video. Aww so cute his shy and soft movements. Actually made me more nervous.
When I stepped up on stage, I immediately noticed more friends that migrated to the front row and I was stunned a little as I had not expected that. The crowd wasn't as much as it would be during lunchtime but it's OK. A new experience dancing in front of a standing crowd!
There were 2 categories of friends:
(A) The screaming type
(B) The recording type
Prior to being on stage, we chatted up a few friends and asked them to scream for us hahahaha. "Must shout until I can hear OK?" "Hahahaha, OKOK."
So that's why they were already there at the front row. The music was not really loud but luckily can hear and no technical problem like yesterday when the Korean Language Society wanted to perform. When the music came on, there were waves of screams lovingly created by our friends HAHAHAHAHA. #pre-plannedplan
But I got a bit surprised la when I see friends holding their phones... Didn't expect it so felt a bit shy. The music started and all the time, I focused mainly on Wan Ping and Alynn. Wan Ping was screaming as loud as she can and I was kinda laughing already. #goodfriendPing Alynn was smiling encouragingly at us just like always. I had fun!
Dancing halfway, I noticed the OC gang throughout the hall hahaha. Faz (who was on Special Task as well) recorded about 30 secs of our dance, posted it on the OC Whatsapp group asking people to identify me.
Jared and Aarun weren't there though, but it's okay.
Overall, I think we did better than on JC Night. The energy is there and I have to mention the new hairstyle gave us a boost. Looks better on camera too. :)
After lunch, I have Creative Drawing. The OCs wanted to go to MPH at 3:30pm to dance our OC dances and so I requested permission and went! It was so fuuun even though we only danced 2 songs. Whenever Khoo sees me, he will start randomly dancing his imitation of Lamb omg.
OK, back to assignment! This time really a lot...
