As the title implies, I went to the ice-breaking session just now at 8:30pm. Feeling so tired now haha.
I went with Ken and I didn't felt as alone and left out as I would be if I went alone or with sis (because we are everywhere with each other, it felt like we are one). He was really open and chill so I felt chill too and also because I know some people there. Sat with Ken when they asked us to sit on the floor so they could deliver speeches.
"Out of 200 applicants, you guys were chosen." *claps and cheers* "We chose you because we could see the potential in you so try not to make us disappointed." Somewhere along those lines. In the room, it didn't look like there were a lot of people.
Mai (Rahman's sister, and whom I knew from my first day in uni during orientation) also got in! The other day I saw her and we were talking about how nervous we were, and to think we made it in!
After some talks and introduction, we all have to leave our bags in the room and we were to play a game. Everyone has to run to either FOE or FCM to find a piece of paper with their names on it (also an indication of which group you will be in for the game). I ran into FOE with Ken and when he saw my name, he called me and I ran over.
I'm in Group 2 and there were 12 people in my group. I think I remember all their names.
The girl from my interview group, Kenny, was in my group. Melissa (whom also was in the Protocol Division of Career Fair '15) as well, so it wasn't like I am in a stranger group.
I also met Azeera, who coincidentally is Jared's friend (I heard about her before, but didn't know it was her). She asked for my name and I told her. "Oh! You're Jared's friend! He told me about you." After a while, I thought the name Azeera sounded familiar and I remembered it was the girl who was kinda close to Jared. They argue a lot hahaha.
We saw Jared near HB3 just now and waved to him. We had a few challenges to do, and the first one we did was to sing the school anthem, Permata Dunia, in the middle of HB3. I remembered all the verse except I couldn't remember which comes when lol.
We did several other challenges which includes taking pictures with the Mr. Parazol (one of the stall owners from HB2), buy stuff from the mini mart, hunt for a black tape in the darkness that is FCM 3rd floor and taking pictures in 7/11 with condom boxes.
Azeera was a nice girl. She would constantly check on me to see if I'm following and even offered me her 100 Plus, which I took a mouthful from. She's really pretty.
Shit, I am so sleepy and I have a group discussion tomorrow morning at 9am haha.
Oh yeah, towards the end, Ta Seen asked if anyone has a problem for the camp and nobody raised up their hands, so I gingerly raised mine. "I won't be available on the 15th..." "See me after this." After, I told him I have a hospital consultation that day, a little bit of health issue, but it shouldn't be too big. At least I don't hope so. :/ I admit I am a little worried.
Earlier when we were waiting for the ice-breaking to start, I told Ken that I couldn't attend for 15th and he asked why. After telling him it was a hospital consultation, which he misheard as a dental appointment at first, but after I repeated, he said, "Why so much sickness one? Go and cure it la."
"You think me going to the hospital is not treating it, is it..."
He didn't know about my issue because I never told him. I didn't tell him more, just didn't feel like it.
So many sickness... ;_; Since when. Triggered my memory of that time I told Mom sorry that I am so high-maintenance, that I have to use so much of her money for me. She said it's nothing and no worries. Thinking about it, I just kept quiet, just a little sad. I'm just glad Ken didn't ask more.
Had supper just now and Ken took my wedges and gave one to Eli and one for himself. I said he'll have to let me drink his Milo because he took mine and he really did let me drink, albeit from another straw (I finished the whole thing). Wow, so nice of him.
Btw for the game, my group came back first! We did a hell lot of running throughout the school.
"If you think this is tiring; wait for the camp. This is nothing." - Ta Seen
