March intake's orientation starts today!
Giang went to check it out just now.
*silent screams*
Rushed out of hostel room just now to go meet sis and Giang at the canteen and on the way out, I noticed this door ajar and there was a smell emitting from there that definitely could only be something living. Slowly I moved my way to the door (I was half-afraid that someone might be pranking me) and then when I looked in, I am greeted by the four most adorable faces ever! There are three orange kittens and one grey one.
Now that I think about it, the mother is the cat that scratched me when I tried to pat it. Hah! I guessed right then - it was pregnant!
Yesterday with sis, celebrating our exam results by singing and crocheting.
She got 3.91 for her second sem, wow.
Today we helped Teacher Ethel prepare stuff for her classes.
It was very nice because we got to chat and I feel like I understood her better and the kind of person she is instead of how she is perceived. Even though she is the same age as Mom (and definitely looks older), she surprisingly has a young heart and mind. She's often laughing and easy to be around with.
Hearing her past stories made me realize the sadder things in life. We just gotta appreciate the good friends we have now and do something that makes you feel peaceful. I believe that we meet people and land somewhere for a reason. I think maybe it's fate. I'm a firm believer in fate meetings.
Heart and butterfly I crocheted today~
I had to re-do Elena's birthday present, which is a sling bag, because of size issue. *sigh*
The result of re-doing the bag = a big bunch of yarn.
I wrapped the different coloured yarns around a cup noodle cup. It was longer than I'd expected. Evelyn and Elena were a good help even though they argued a lot lol.
11.30pm. Just left 30 minutes and the boys' hostel gate will close. The three of us met at the canteen. It's sweet of him to want to come and meet up even if just briefly. I appreciated that. :) We talked about his new roommate from the orientation. This afternoon, he controlled him room laptop through his office laptop to do his own projects while at his interning office. When he switched on the webcam, he saw a guy and then quickly off-ed him computer. He was so shocked lol.
He said luckily that guy didn't see the laptop functioning supposedly by itself. If not he would be scared die haha. Can't wait to meet this new person, if ever. Giang said he is the same age as the both of us. We enacted him doing geli (goosebump-ish) stuff to his new roommate like waking him up gently, "Ah boy, wake up ha", and doing all sort of motherly stuff haha! We included Ken later which made him even more freaked out.
Just now in Ionization, I told Giang "miss ppl then say" (OK, very broken language hahaha). He replied, "Keep in heart". I don't know if it's just me but he is slowly becoming more open and affectionate with us. Can't say I hate it. :P
