This little girl finally settled in a little today!
(Snapped while video-ing, hence the quality and dimension; interesting.)
(Snapped while video-ing, hence the quality and dimension; interesting.)
Set alarm for 8am and lazed a bit before I got up, which usually only takes me 5 mins, but today it took me 20 mins. Almost scare die me. Rushed down to brush teeth, wash face and eat breakfast.
Cat bus from Tonari no Totoro~
The both of us walked to the driving centre and waited for the same auntie to drive us to another driving centre to take the test. In the car, she asked if we could walk all the way home later, which shocked us, but we said OK because there was basically no way out of that request. OK.
I never walked that far in Malaysia before.
While waiting to take the test, the auntie asked why is our face so filled with pimples. It actually is the after effect of going to facial, which honestly looks quite bad. She advised us to use limau kasturi (lime) to dab on our faces, which is going to sting a little she said, and it'll help with the problem. She questioned us on how often we eat vegetables; which actually really wasn't often, especially when we are in university. I think she wanted to face palm.
"Bukan tak cantik pun." Then she talk somemore. "You bukan cantik atau muka panjang; you comel tau. Muka tak cepat tua." (Translated to: "It's not like you're not pretty. You're not really the pretty kind or have long faces, but you are cute. Doesn't age fast.") OK, we were a little happy.
The computer test is so clever, whoever designed it. Sis and I got different questions. There were three parts; the colour blindness test, the distinguishing-whether-you-can-see-alphabets-and-numbers test, and the real on the road knowledge test. It was kinda fun, but I was passively nervous, like I am for all my exams in my secondary school years and before. I think they purposely put some questions that are not obvious or not stated in the early part of the book, hmmm. Didn't occur to me that I need to know what type of licenses kenderaan barangan drivers need. I'm not even sure what that means exactly, I'm guessing it means vehicles that drive/load/unload stuff.
I double-checked and went out of the computer room. Oh actually before we start, I was talking to sis and the woman had to knock on the glass panel between the computer room and outside and signal for us to be quiet hahaha. OK, twins problem.
In the end, we did walk home from the centre. I passed the test (44/50), everyone says it's easy, but I honestly was prepared if I failed lol. Felt like I didn't give much effort for the reading (though I did my best for the test). The walk home took a lot of strategy as there was a lot of construction going on. I never noticed it's that much; probably because I was always in the car, oblivious.
I was paranoid that someone would grab my bag or pull me into a vehicle like a lot of the horror stories in newspapers go. It felt nice to walk but the fear was seeping into my brain. I told myself to stay safe and just enjoy the walk. It was a good experience. Felt long, but we made it home.
Ching Ching mixing around
She laughed quite a lot today so I was glad. I would say she cried A LOT LESS. She even walked around the house by herself and not sticking to Po Po all the time. Rain came and we discovered she loves the rain. I let her touch the stream of water making their way down from the roof, to a board and then to a tank. It's like a subtle waterfall and she got addicted.
Later I took some pictures (and a short video) of her with my camera and realizes she loves the focusing light in the camera as well. You know, that orange light that comes out of camera when it tries to focus in a dark environment. She kept laughing and tried to touch my lens. So cute~ I'm glad she opened up. :) She called me Jie Jie for the first time too.
Possibly Elena's first selfie
I didn't even know she took it until I flick through my phone's camera roll.
I tried crocheting today and messed up a little because I over-looked some things omg how could I. Never really tried crocheting before so I think it is OK but I am bothered with the over-looked detail. My phone case is shaped like a vase/dress now! I feel like taking it out again but I think I'm just wasting yarn. T^T
Elena's attempt at braiding my hair
Finally I got around to listening to Shiomaru's A Tribute Album just now. I like it! It sounds like AmaLee's translated songs, the melodies, so I guess I like these kind of songs. Kind of like a ballad, but with exciting parts. Yes, and I did smell the Green Tea scented hand soap that was given to me when I brought the album while listening to the album.
Not willing to use the soap.
Elena pressed into Be My Princess today and for some reason it is at the front page with the Login With Email/Play buttons instead of the white loading page. The memories came back as I looked over every one of the characters. I went into My Sweet Bodyguard as well and it has the same result; again, I looked them over. Then I got a little sentimental.
