What, February is almost over!?
I just remembered it being the new year.
*cries*
Very delicious chocolate cake I ate for brunch that we took home from Granduncle YS's house.
I spent my afternoon productively today by completing my flower ball (a DIY for CNY) and my Daiso rabbit. *pats self on back for not spending the whole day in front of the laptop*

We had quite a hard time finding a place for it because the house is full of CNY decorations. Originally, this flower ball craft is supposed to be made with ang pao packets but I thought it would be out of season soon and I have a lot of Yuzen papers left, so I used just that. Other than it being cute and colourful, it actually doesn't go out of style. If I had used ang pao packets to make it instead, it would hang awkwardly for the rest of the year...

Time to attach it to the provided dust plug and I'm done. I'm already using it for my phone now - it's so cute. Might buy more beads and do more! Can buy the other versions too, which is a panda, dog and bear, if I'm not mistaken.
Elena and gang came over before dinner so we could go out to dinner together. Played the Wolf and Sheep game, which is like their go-to game when there is two of us because we always are the fence. Yeah... I let Light come out to have a little walk too upon Elena and Evelyn's insistence. Light wasn't very active and didn't try to run (or crawl quickly in her case) this time; maybe it's because she wants to sleep? I don't know if she recognizes her tank or what, but she managed to find her way back to her tank and after a while, I put her back in, in case she wants to sleep. I notice that she is always more inactive at night.
Went out to eat Yong Tau Foo and then came back and saw my cousins, living a house away, playing with fireworks. We joined them.
Camera cannot focus in the dark and refuses to let the shutter click. *sigh* In the end, I didn't manage to capture a lot of photos with my camera.

I don't play with fireworks so much now that I'm a bit grown. Actually it is because I am scared of the loud noises of fireworks and crackers, and also the sparks that escape the fireworks. /.\ Damn. /paranoia/
They are relaxing to look at. You get to be kind of in a trance.
