Sis and I went and get our hair treated today - it's so straight even though we didn't rebond/straighten it. It isn't exactly what I wanted but it's OK. At least it made me look more presentation so I am grateful!

I guess now when I look at it, both are fine. I am surprised our friends (and my roommate) actually noticed from the start. XD Even Giang - he said our pony-tailed (we tied it up to avoid looking like our hair visible changed) hair looks extra swing-y today lol! We didn't cut it at Taka's; we went to the one I dreaded. I only got to know we are going there when the shop was in sight. But I gave it another try; I was so afraid it'll be like last time when I cut short my hair initially - full of regrets. But it's fine now, gotta appreciate it.
Mom has a new hairstyle too (slight curls) and it looks great on her. :)
We also met up with Elena they all for lunch at McD - Elena ran and hugged us when she saw us! Oh, I am so touched. ;_; I thought she would be silent and tough (hiding her shyness) but she was so sweet! <3 I picked her up, kissed her and swung her around in the indoor McD playground.
