OMG IT'S NEARLY FEBRUARY.

Yesterday we were talking about making Valentine's Day chocos with Eli. We'll be joining Ping and Miranda. Is this starting to sound like an anime or what? Nobody special to give it to, so I'll just be giving it to friends. We were also planning to have a dinner on the 14th of February with the dance team. :) It shall be fun! 14th is the last day of any exams too, fortunately. My exam ends on the 7th so I have plenty of time to play!!

"Good night princess"

That must have been the third time he called me 'princess' in a row yesterday (or was it four?). It is getting more frequent that I think it must have started being a name for me. At first it was a  little funny, I thought, didn't really thought much about it, but now it becomes so frequent it became natural. I don't really mind though, as long as he doesn't mean anything more by it.

So yesterday I asked him why do you have a habit of calling me princess? "Guy should impress a girl. So I call you princess to make you happy." What... The first thought that pop-ed up in my mind (automatically so) was that I don't need some pretty nicknames to make me happy. It made me feel sad too that he thinks I can be happy with this kind of things. But never mind; my mind changes to another thought - he really wanted to make me happy. In my mind, I was pushing the suspicion of him wanting to impress me, but I put it as just a friend being nice to a friend. I want nothing more.

And so I asked if he calls his friends 'princess' to make them happy (because who knows lol) and he said so far he only calls me 'princess'. I didn't know how to respond... and luckily the topic changed.

Please make me a promise to not be more than friends. >.<

"Group discussion? Later they all ffk you." - Ken

"No, they won't. Because I am the boss!" - me

No la, just joking. I asked to meet up for a group discussion in HB2 (boys' hostel canteen) to discuss our CG and hopefully be able to compile our work together. I have to have trust in them that they will show up. Actually some people do ffk (kind of like betray) you, but so far I don't have this experience. In the end, Ted really came. But Aril didn't - I think he wasn't finished with his part yet.

The hard part of my current CG group is that we didn't have a group meeting where there is three of us; it's always me and either one of them. But they are still quite cooperative so it's fine. Aril is rarely online, so that's the hard part for him. For Ted, the only hard part is when he over-slept that time, but other than that, he's totally fine. Since Aril wasn't there, we just reviewed our parts. I have to say that I am impressed with Ted's work haha... He did what we discussed (but have to tweak the flags' colours a little bit) and then transferred his files into my pendrive so we got it all covered. Now time to combine it with Aril's background and we'll be almost done. :)

Painting VRC final assignment in my room
Notice the gold paint! Hope it becomes pretty in the end. *.*

Ate at HB3 and found these beautiful colour combination (blue and orange).
Looks more magical in real. I was transfixed for a moment.

First time having Fish and Chips from Delidelphia; pretty OK.

Watching one of the videos for English assignment that sis's classmates did.

The video loaded so slow because of the sucky line caused by raining. I ran up to take my laptop (I'll be needing it for my group discussion later) and downloaded the video in my room. Then sis, Ken, Edmund and I watched it. Could barely hear the audio though because Edmund's bag absorbed most of it. Thanks for the sacrifice though... OTZ (The table was dirty and Edmund sacrificed his bag to let me put my laptop.)

After I was finished discussing with Ted, I requested to watch his video haha. There are two lecturers for English - for us, we did a 30-second trailer for our chosen short story, while for the other class they had to make a 20-minute video (prequel or sequel or parody or anything). Ted's group did 'Taste' (as with a lot of groups). 'Taste' basically talks about Martin, an aspiring fashion designer who makes a living in London, but came back to Singapore after being prompted by his sister Marion. There, he relives his memories from when he was little, when his father used to bring him to places. It is a family kind of story. But teenagers seemed to like focusing on the relationship between Martin and his ex-lover, George, who went away to be with a Thai boy, Som.

While watching his video, I was like ship, ship, ship. They managed to make everyone look gay, and not in the overt sense. Ted and Irman was Martin and George respectively and I was amazed how real the acting was. The camera was good too. The things that were not good were the edits and audio; we can hear the 'actions' and the 'cuts' and the audio was too loud for some part and suddenly silent for another. But overall, I think they did great.

It's just too bad they didn't complete it in time. Members problem once again. *sigh* Told sis about it and she wants to watch it so I'm asking Ted to send me the link.

I guess I am going to sleep kind of early today? - I don't know. Feels like I have nothing left to do. Don't feel like painting. Finished my Photography once and for all today (queued for about an hour to print). Was raining heavily in the late afternoon today so I sat in FOE for a while and so did Kah Wai. We chatted. I saw Aarun.

*can't hear him over the rain* - me

"I'm going to class." - Aarun

"I know." - me

*flashes eye whites* - Aarun

The funny things we do. XD Glad to see we are still close even though dance meetings are long over. Been so long since I last saw him.

Oh, I saw Eli and Pawg at the canteen today while waiting for sis. Pawg tabao-ed her food. We chatted a little. I wasn't really close to her, but each time I see her, I feel like we get a little closer. She is so convinced that Giang is our 'boyfie' omg. How can he date two people at once la... Eli understands that he is like a big brother to us. He really is the big brother we never had. I just feel so comfortable with him and he is caring as well. I think we are spoiling his market by always being with him hahaha. It's weird how we are from two different ends of the spectrum; we almost have nothing in common. If not for him, I think I won't go swimming.

We are two Foundation students in Arts (first and second sem too), and he is in his final year in Engineering. So, so different, but we made time for each other and that's how our friendship blossomed. It was strange really. Maybe it was fate. Maybe it was something else. But whatever it is, I know I am grateful and so is sis.

He said he's going to bring us once more to Starbucks before the break, so yay!! <3 (p.s. I secretly think is because he will miss us when he goes to intern hahaha.)

Browsing The San Francisco Globe at this hour. So interesting. *.*

(While I grow up, it becomes less and less strange for people to talk about pregnancy no matter their gender, and to normally assume their female friends are gonna go through it one day. The guys talked about it in a normal manner. I feel so strange.)
