Volume 1, Chapter 2, Page 7 (Career Fair '15 Day 2)

Wednesday, 7 January 2015

This week's prime activity consists of writing apologetic emails to lecturers.

In about 30 minutes or less, I gotta rush back to Career Fair to arrange the souvenirs side-stage (not backstage because we are standing on the concealed side of the stage) and then present them. Today's schedule was packed as well.

1) Woke up at 7am and went to Career Fair. Breakfast was served.

2) Went back to room to change for class. Shoe was being a painful bitch. Went to Life Drawing class.

3) Lunch with Aini and sis. Went back to room to change again for Career Fair. Me writing this entry.

4) Career Fair.

5) Dinner.

6) JC Night rehearsal at Multi-purpose Hall (MPH) at 8pm. Full costume.

7) Come back and complete Photography once and for all. Not to mention shower too.

I'll hang on because all this is going to be over by this week. A thought arises: what will happen next week? I am so used to participating in events that it feels weird not to do it anymore.

Yesterday:

We bumped into Giang while buying food and we were talking about something I couldn't really remember.

Sis: He's the president. (Referring to Giang)

Giang: A president that is going to retire. Soon.

I couldn't catch it for a moment and when the realization sinked it, I felt like I could have cried there and then. It was such a shock. January will be his final month as the swim club's leader. It won't be the same without him anymore. T^T

The issue of him going to graduate soon is still sensitive to me...

~*~*~*~

Look of the day!

We gathered at the hall at 7:30am (not everyone was punctual). Once again had breakfast at the Grand Hall.

Waiting for orders in the morning which turned out to be none.
So I successfully and unnecessarily relaxed side-stage.

Serious face.

Day 2's shirt~

At about 11pm++, I made my way to Life Drawing class after changing out of my skirt and shoes.

Step-by-step~
Creating the base for an oil pastel work later on.
Not confident enough to draw straight with the oil pastels...

With Day 2, Career Fair is finally and officially over! It felt like a second ago that the first day begun. ._. I enjoyed myself tremendously because the Protocol members were really accepting and I felt like I had really made friends. It was a warm feeling. ^.^

While I was holding the tray for the silver sponsors and were standing beside Prof. Rasat (MMU's president), he suddenly talked to me. "Are these for the gold sponsors?"

"No, these are for silver," I replied and I just as well should because he gave me a satisfied smile. That was close. Feel so proud of myself.

He reminds me of a mad scientist with his head of white hair and scientist-ish stature.

Top left corner is with CK, Career Fair's director!

The Protocol members plotted to surround CK, KC and Prakash and then hug them. Omg awkward max. Squeezing myself behind Ghaya and Neo, we hugged the three of them from KC's side. It was bad enough that the Protocol division had less than 10 people. But it was something different so it's OK.

Had dinner with Edmund because sis was out doing shooting for her Creative English assignment and then went to JC Night rehearsal. So tired now but I still have Photography to edit.
