I used eyelashes that were meant as lower lashes (cuz my eyes are small haha)
and one fell off just before I had to take a picture with stayxxxx so I had to
take the other out too. ;_;

I cosplayed as Echo (of Pandora Hearts) for the first day and went as an OC for the second day so I could take pictures. Echo's costume belonged to Ashley, but I bought it because it fits me nicely and I love PH, and because stayxxxx touched it. :X

Us, and a junior from school
Didn't buy anything, just walked around and for the first time in such a long time, I cosplayed the whole time I was there. The last time I cosplayed was in CF 2013, and last year I only cosplayed twice, if I remembered correctly. You would see from my blog that there aren't a lot of cosplay posts because I kinda limit my cosplay activity since 2 years ago; low profile. Because of money and studies. But now I want to come back!
Luckily my make-up skills didn't deteriorate. OTZ I would like to think that taking art lessons improve my make-up skills, which I think is kinda true. And my face didn't change much since I first started cosplay 4 years ago - I don't know if I should be happy or what. I used to imagine me growing up and finally be able to cosplay cooler characters, but even now I can only appropriately do shouta characters. Not that I dislike shota characters; I actually kinda love them. So in a way I'm glad.

OK, back to Day 1. After meeting with a junior from my secondary school, my sis and I were thirsty so we went down to buy water. And on our way down (at the escalator), who could it be but stayxxxx! Actually at first I didn't notice her, I was saying to sis "Hey, look at that person. Make up so pro, so beautiful. Wow, so white," and then my sis exclaimed, "Is that stayxxxx? I think it is!" and then we looked over and as we crossed each other, she turned a little and gave us a smile.
*nosebleed*
I cannot stop gushing about her then. Actually I wasn't her fan, but after AMG, she became my idol. I think I see why Lay Si love her so much.
After a while, we went back into the convention hall and accidentally discovered stayxxxx's booth. (I didn't even know she's having a booth there - OK, I didn't know anything about AMG '14 cuz I didn't bother to check. >.< I didn't even know she was coming. OTZ) As we were browsing through her prints (and wanting to buy), she suddenly appeared from the side with her 'bodyguards' and made their way to their booth accompanied by screams. I was like "Shit, what's happening, just buy quickly!" Wow, what a lucky coincidence.
Maybe it was birthday luck? As our birthday was 2 days before AMG. Apparently it was stayxxxx's photograph session and after buying we also busybody go and join the crowd to take photos with her. That's when I realized one of my lashes fell off. QAQ Nevermind, pluck the other out too. Damn. Luckily we were quite front, so we were the first few to take photos with her.
So handsome... *.* That smile.

I wondered if she was nervous, coming to a far away place. I mean, she is also a normal person like us. After taking a photo with her, I bowed a little and said a thank you in Mandarin; she seemed startled and also bowed a little. I was happy because this is my first picture with a famous cosplayer. ^.^
I wasn't even aware of her hand there. >.<

I decided that I will bring her print for her to sign tomorrow, if there is a autograph session, which there definitely will be. Then we strolled around the hall, looking at booths and not buying anything because I'll buy tomorrow.
But I bought a Sekaiichi Hatsukoi paper bag though. I love it! People kept mistaking it as Junjou Romantica. I will bring it tomorrow and use it as a shopping bag. Haiz, I think I will be using it everytime I go to events. I can chuck illustrations and loots inside it without them being crumpled up.

Did a little photoshoot with Sahil (photographer) and my sis. Waiting for the pics~
I don't know if I carry out a good Echo, but I did my best. ^.^ Its my first time doing a girl character with short skirt and thigh-length stocking. Finally I did a girl cosplay, haha. My main thing is crossplay, rather than cosplay, so yeah.

Bascially, Day 2 is for roaming around, taking pictures and buying stuff. Bought more than I expected, but still less compared to last time. Now I know to buy for value and not just spam-buy fanarts of my favourite characters. LOL This particular habit left me with a lot of badges that I don't know what to do with.

Ashley said that stayxxxx is also coming for Day 2 so my main motive for that day was to get her signature. We were just walking into the hall to buy stuff but then the emcee announced that stayxxxx will be on stage and I saw a Kuroshitsuji cosplayer on stage and I wanted to walk away until I gave the stage a chance and realized it was stayxxxx. OTZ LUCKILY.

Its kinda unfortunate of me to be standing on this side,
but oh well, I can see her, that's already enough.
After this ended we went to quickly grab lunch. As in we bought onigiri from AEON and ate while we rushed back to the hall. LOL... We went to her booth again, to check if she's having an autograph session and we found some people lining up so we also line up. We were quite front again and after a while, she came! Wow, what kind of luck is this!?
Sis was before me, I took her photo with stayxxxx for her and when she was going, she exclaimed "I love you!" and stayxxxx looked up and grinned. Aww, so cute~ Then it was my turn. I laid down her print for her and asked if she can write my name. She said there's no way around it, if I want my name, then I can't have the picture, she said this good-naturedly. I gasped a little, but I don't know if she heard it. >.<
Dammit, my wig is a mess. ;_;
But she's perfect, so its OK.
Then sis took my photo for me. "Thank you for coming to Malaysia," I said to her and she suddenly grabbed my wrist. OAO I was shocked, I couldn't remember anything. She said something in a slight desperate and assuring tone. Something along the lines of "Someday we will meet again." I couldn't fully understand her because her Mandarin was deep for me (only that time), or I must have understood but forgotten.
Anyway, I was surprised why she did that. But she gave me motivation that, someday, we will really meet again. I will wait for that day! And I will improve to the point that I don't feel like slapping my own picture standing next to her because she's like a goddess. OTZ
I was so high, and for the few days after too. I'm always thinking of her, and I miss her so damn much! ;_; I actually put her print among my toys so that when I wake up, I'll see her. OTZ For 2 nights only. Then I don't wanna be such a creep so I put her print back into my Sekaiichi paper bag and look at her for motivation and assurance. She is also the first famous cosplayer that I had an autograph of. I'm proud of that print!
Stayxxxx inspired me to keep cosplaying. Coming to AMG '14, it reminded me of why I started cosplaying in the first place and reignited my passion for it. Overall, I am glad that I came. ^.^

Speaking of cosplay, I don't think I grew much. OTZ I'm still looking like how I was when I'm 14, except with better make-up.
