It was after 2pm, and usually at this time, I'll go down for my lunch break because that's when most of the office workers' lunch time ends. Deciding what to eat is SOOO HAAARD.
So I went to one of my usual restaurants and after settling myself on the table, I looked at my food. Hmmm, this is the perfect lunch; fruits, rice (with side dishes) and soup! It might have been my first or second time having it like this. I remembered yesterday I was telling mom how I often eat the same food as long as there's egg, veges and meat in one plate, in which she replied by suggesting that I try other food of the same category. And so today, adventurously, I took new side dishes and wanted to take a record-breaking long lunch.
I ate economic rice, again, and took the usual boiled egg. Then I wanted to take my usual veges, but I ended up taking some vege that looked kinda familiar and then I took some minced meat. There! Different vege and meat. Feeling accomplished, I found a table, bought some pineapples and took myself some soup. I even took a picture.
After devouring some pineapples, I drank the soup and on the way to my mouth, the spoon touched the veges and I noticed a really weird taste. I have tasted it before - and I didn't like it then. >.< This is my 2nd time having this vege; actually, I distinguished it wrongly from the one I like. No wonder something bugs me, oh God. The stalks are slightly larger!
I ate some veges and feeling like I wanted to puke but didn't want to waste food and money, I stuffed them all into my mouth. ;_; Dammit, I took too much. I kept drinking soup and eating it with the minced meat too, but it somehow makes it worst. For meat, I usually take lemon chicken, or sweet and sour chicken, or if I'm feeling rich, a fried chicken, but this time I took pork, which isn't really bad, but it does not down the taste of the vege.
I ended up eating only half of the block of minced meat and made myself eat up all the rice and eggs and drink the soup. I still had some pineapples, as I like to leave some for after-meal - which is good because it helps cover the vege's taste. I checked the time; my lunch is only 17 minutes, or less. It surprised me. 17 minutes include coming up to the studio, washing my hands and mouth, sitting on my chair in front of the computer and finally checking my phone's time.
When I burp, it has the aftertaste of that vege... ;_;
I might have jinxed myself.
