The Day Before The Day

Went to Setia Walk today for a class outing, had the class teacher out with us too!

Its only my 3rd time in Setia Walk and  I don't really know what they have to offer, so I was reluctant at first. There's much more things in there than the last time I went, so its not that bad. Went to Lay Si's house first before going there, but we reached an hour later than the predicted time because we have to go to Elena's kindie to deliver her bday cake.

She didn't know we were coming. She was pestering her mom to buy her a cake for her friends. LOL When we reached there, 3 classes of kids were practicing for their concert, so cute. So many short people.

She was very different from when she was at home; at school, she was mature and very silent. ._. It was very awkward singing the bday song cuz she was staring vacantly at the cake, trying her hardest to put on a stoic face.

I don't understand. ._.

I think she was trying not to over react and laugh in front of everyone. LOL You would think that she hates her bday and her mom forcefully brought the cake.

Back to Setia Walk! :D

Reached there quite late and then after meeting with some friends, me, sis and Lay Si went around SW to explore. For the first time, I went to Shanghai Street after hearing about it from my beautician and seeing it on FB~ It was quite beautiful, but it was smaller than I had expected. At least it doesn't look half-assed. Overall, I like it. <3

Strolled around and took some pictures (of us and decos). Most our pics is in Lay Si's phone cuz her phone's camera's quality is so much better. I only took pictures of decos and some occasional pics of us. Filtered some pictures to improve the mood of the photo.

It looks so much better in real
(Shit, I think I over-filtered)

Shaky hands + No-good quality = Not good. Not good at all.

Rows of restaurants
What I love about it is that every restaurant is beautifully furnished
and designed - it really improves the overall look.

I love this concept - a more modern Shanghai!

Touch wood lah, this is very nice but the internal velvet cushioning reminds me of... coffins. :/
I wished I never realized that.

I love this room because it looks like those that performers prepare in. <3
You bet we took a lot of pics in here. Vain pics, silly pics.

The Japanese Occupation?

The view /no filter/

After satisfying our thirst for exploration, we met back up with the rest before going to Ding Tea (the 3 of us + Pei Mun). Ordered Espresso Milk Tea and chose 50% sugar - regret!! This is how it goes in my mind:

0% - Not sweet
25% - Slightly sweet
50% - Just right
75% - Slightly sweeter
100% - Very sweet

But apparently 100% is the 'just right' level so my drink ends up very bland... *cries* It tasted more like water than espresso milk tea.

Chatted about stuffs and about this 2 guys in our class who thinks very negatively. It was very nice catching up with friends and knowing that we still talk as much! Later Chiok Yuen came to join us after she finished watching Captain America by herself. We thought she wasn't here yet but it turns out that she was here all along - very early so!!

She took 3 of our receipts and got stamps and herself a free drink. Lucky.

Was too full to go for lunch cuz of the milk tea but we ate anyway because the sweetness is only 'fake fullness'. After Puan Loh arrived, we went for a late lunch (cuz we have to wait for her to finish school) at Korean BBQ. The food there was moderate, but the chopsticks were very hard to use!! Its so heavy and thin!

The long chair we were sitting on is also a little retarded - whenever someone moves a little forward to take something, the whole chair will tilt to the front. And its a little too far from the table.

The price was OK too (we ordered the set), but there was a lot of things in it that we don't eat. They don't even have the spicy pickled veges... ;_;

Then we separated from everyone (6 of us girls) and went to karaoke! It was my first time with friends (or rather friend because me, sis and Lay Si shared a room. Shy shy.) and it was super fun! XD At first we kept laughing and stopping cuz it was felt unnatural and weird and embarrassing... but we went crazy after a while.

The room was quite spacious for us 3, while the room that the other 3 got was much smaller.

It was also easy because the 3 of us sing almost the same songs - we're pretty much on the same wavelength. But some Japanese songs have no romaji... ;_; Lay Si sang some Chinese. We shouted most of the songs because we were too high and also none of us could reach a decent high pitch. I think it was one of my craziest days.

I love this so much. We should do this again!!

Lay Si sang 'Because I Loved You' as a tribute to me~ Thank you, thank you. <3

So stupid, we only discovered some anime songs when there was only about 45 mins left. =.= Frantically selected a lot of songs and screamed sang our hearts out.

F*ck /SCREECH/

We literally screamed. Too much excitement.

Phew, that was fun and hectic; I couldn't feel my throat when it all ends. I felt very tired too, laughed too much. *heavy breathing*

But seriously, my voice sounds so much better in a mic.

Alright, tomorrow's the day! Ganbarou watashi!!
