Today the both of us went to IOI to pass time before our facial appoinment. At about noon, we made our way across the bridge to the Boulevard area. (The air was damn hazy... It wasn't that hazy in the morning, but at about 10, I notice the haze through restaurant windows.)
When we reached the other side of the bridge, 2 guys approached us; "Ah Mei (little sister), can you donate?" We stepped away quickly and i stuck out my hand to indicate no.
They kept following us n one guy kept calling out "Ah Mei! Ah Mei ah!" and we faster crossed the road. I was about to laugh because he said it so funny. But of course i made sure they didn't see me do that. Luckily they couldn't cross the road because cars in that area is aplenty n we were just fortunate to be able to cross.
Then it became no laughing matter when i turned back n saw them following us wtf. We faster walked, hoping that they'll give up, but when i turned around, they were still following albeit on the other side of the road. I think they saw me looking back. So persistant!! Just find some other people!!
I was so afraid that they will catch up to us at the junction n i told sis to hurry n we cross the junction along the road instead of just beside the +. They were still following.
I asked sis to walk calmly (but quickly) n then run when we reach the corner. Shit just got serious. ~.~ We quickly ran n then cross the road to the facial centre. They were still following but there were too many cars/motorcycles/people that they lost us.
We rushed into the centre n monitored them. I guess they lost us as they continued on straight.
I don't know how to feel. <.< It was exciting but freaky at the same time. OK maybe i shouldn't be feeling excited.
We talked about it to the jie jie (the beauticians we refer to as 'older sister') n one of them recalled of a time when they came to the centre. She was talking to a customer on the phone n let them in to wait. But they kept asking her for donation despite seeing her on the phone. Annoyed she just gave then RM5 (in which later her husband, who was there, asked why she gave it to them).
Later when we finished facial (about after 2 hours), I think one of them is still hanging around. Its so scary man. =.=
But i pity them if this is their daily routine as they have been there since about SPM. Go find a job or something!
I don't know if he (one of the guys was the one we encountered in my initial post about scammers) recognized us or not, but perhaps he did. I just hope he's not stalking us or cheating girls for donation (we realized that they mainly target girls cuz probably they are weak n easy targets).
So girls, please be careful if you are at the bridge area near Boulevard!!
Next time i shall follow a man closely n pretend that he's my father. ~.~
