I should probably start writing longer and useful posts instead of short updates. LOL
Not in this post though; I will someday. But not now. /lazy/
Anyway, did some pretty artsy stuff for the past few weeks and the latest stuff I delved into was paper crafts. Alright, it was actually for little kids but the teacher had to train us to teach the kids so we get to do it too.
He gave us each a blank piece of paper with the outlines of where to cut already printed and we had to draw in the faces, shirts, hair, etc in. Major imagination block, so I drew one of my usual characters. I always can't decide whether I like blonde-hair-blue-eyes or brown-hair-green-eyes better. :/
But I went with blonde-hair-blue-eyes this time.
Paper Craft, The Journey (Movie), Friends
Left, sis's - Right, mine
I think it turns out pretty cute. XD
Then we did some challenging-ass architecture paper craft so that we could further understand how it works. Will - maybe - post it up when we're finished. b^.^d
Last Wednesday, we went out with Lay Si and watched The Journey before going to visit Sherron and Li Ying at their work place.
It was OK, I guess, kinda nice. But it is so irritating at the start when the music is so loud and I couldn't hear what they are saying and have to read the subtitles. And there I was, hoping that I didn't have to read the subtitles this time cuz it is a Malaysian movie and cuz I'm always reading the subtitles. <.< Luckily it got better later on (but I still have to read the subtitles when they speak in Hokkien).
'Twas fun in the cinema as people were laughing openly (especially the few aunties at the back of the cinema - it was as if they were inside). The show was quite silly and some parts were quite taboo, which made the show even funnier. XD Was quite heartwarming and feels, but I tried not to tear. LOL It wasn't that sad, but it does explore the meaning of getting older and losing your friends to death. So, appreciate your friends before its too late!
Then we walked to where the both of them work and stalked them a bit. I'm sorry, respective co-workers, if we disturbed the system and peace of your cafe. OTZ We meant no harm.
It was quite amusing to see them working and being sooo responsible and grown up already. Especially Sherron; looking at them made me feel proud. *sheds tear* She used to be dependent on others but now she's OK on her own, what a great change.
Then we went out together to a mamak on their break and chatted a lot. I miss talking together!! It instantly perked up my day. I never realized how much I miss communicating with them.
Now its not a matter of who doesn't want to meet, but rather an issue of when is anyone actually free. We are all so occupied most of our time that its hard to meet up at all. ;_; But! We shall be going into colleges/unis/Form 6 in a few months time and hopefully we will get more vacant time then.
I can't wait. :)
