Its school Report Card Day today - just came back from school. Got no.17 in class and average grade of 54%, sigh. But I shall try better for trials which is next month end. Let's see about that.
Teacher said that we are well-behaved in class, but once she got to know us, its a different story. XD She said our English is good! So we discussed a little about our grades and the comparison between the first exam and the mid-term. I got 71% overall for my first. But that doesn't count because for the first exam, we have one paper only and mostly consists of up to Chap 2 while the mid-term exam have Form 4 and Form 5 syllables in it. And 2/3 papers. <.<
Anyway, last 2 days, there was a ceramah (talk, lecture) in school and we have to pay RM6 for it. Initially, I did not want to go because I thought that it would be like all the other ceramahs, which was really really boring. But I went anyway.
Best choice I had ever made.
It was so worth it that RM6 made it feel undervalued. The man was great and he thought us tips on how to answer the Bahasa Malaysia paper in SPM. He was hilarious and makes dirty jokes, in a fun way. I kept laughing so much that the 5 hours we have for the ceramah felt like 2 hours only. If only school time passes this quickly...
Then me and sis stayed back after school to help set things up for the singing competition but ended up with nothing much to do (because apparently they were over-staffed) and went back early. But not so fast! First, we went to my aunt's office because my transport aunty refused to drive stay-back students on a Friday. T^T
We walked all the way from school, singing songs like nobody's business but stopped after a while because the music from my phone's too loud. XD Walked for maybe about 2 km and then sis told aunt we're coming. But she's in KL. So we decided to walk around until she comes back.
And so, with our school bags and folders and water bottles, we walked to Boulevard, which is about an additional 1 km from where we are. Got a little lost, walked a little more, and finally reached Boulevard. Went to Snowflake to eat desserts, couldn't find it, but at last found it. It was like playing Amazing Race or something.
The aircond was like heaven. The guy at the counter doesn't look too satisfied to be working and we took a long time to order since its our first time here. It was getting kinda awkward so I just randomly picked something. LOL
Ordered something of ice and yam with sugar syrup - it was great. I was like wth when I first saw the yams because I didn't knew we'd be getting yams, and also I don't quite fancy yams, but when I tried it, it was actually better than I thought. The bowl was awesomely big and its only RM5.90 - better spent than on Tong Pak Fu. Ate till my mouth twitched from the freeziness.
Then we went to my aunt's office which is maybe about 1 km from Boulevard. Upon reaching the office, we had to walked up 3 storeys. <.< I was so exhausted by this time.
Got changed and went on to our next adventure - IOI Mall! We walked about 2 km to IOI Mall and then strolled around before going to the kiddies arcade to the Purikura booths. Spent RM20, got 4 stamps on my arcade card, and off we go!
After taking the pictures, we played 4 rounds of the Taiko drums. Our usual arcade schedule. XD
Then went to Popular to illegally read books. Got hungry and went to McD.
Minions sold out!
But nevermind, not really a fan of them and the reason I ordered Happy Meal was because it suits my eating portion. Not that I eat that little, but its like a habit to order Happy Meal. So they gave me a Santa globe from Rise of the Guardians, which I kinda like.
After that, we strolled around and got frozen by the aircond in the new wing. LOL Oh, we also went to the another arcade at the new wing and sis tried out the laser gun thing where you aim the gun at the laser and then the balloon bursts. Minimum burst balloons for a prize is 5, and sis shot 4 only because at first she didn't catch the concept of playing the game. Neither did I. It was our first time coming across a gun game without bullets. ._.
Crossed the bridge over to the bank and waited for my aunt there. And that's about what happened during my after school escapade! It was unexpectedly fun walking back from school but I doubt that it'll be fun if I have to do this daily.
I think we walked about 10 km that day and I exercised A LOT. Never walked this much ever since coming back from Sg. LOL
