Warning - It is a long post.
I wanna cry because I couldn't find the new friends I met in Taylor's... ;_; Am I being stupid by continuing? I have spent about an hour searching for them in the afternoon and I also tried finding them just now. QAQ WHERE ART THOU?!
Overall, the event was fun, fun, FUN! XD I enjoyed myself to the max; never been this mad with friends. LOL There were 5 of us; me, sis, Lay Si, Sherron and Li Ying. When we received our own schedule, we found out that we were to be separated. I was separated from my sister and Sherron was separated from Li Ying (they are really inseparable).
But I have to say that this is rather fortunate. XD Because if I were to stick with D (my sis) all the time, I wouldn't be able to make friends because we'll be talking to each other ALL THE TIME. Well, but for Sherron, I don't know if I should feel happy for her, because she seemed awfully depressed and emo when she's not with Li Ying. Li Ying, on the other hand, was more open and sociable than I'd thought so I guess she enjoyed herself. :)
I went with Sherron and Lay Si, while D is with Li Ying. So we bid our goodbyes and went our own respective ways. I had Millionaire in Action after Ice-breaking while D + LY had Workshop after Ice-breaking. Ice-breaking is just a series of videos, LOL, Millionaire in Action seemed more like Ice-breaking to me.
Me (left) and Lay Si, my 'little sister'.
Some people went up on stage and they had to do Gwiyomi LOL
The video would have been hilarious if not for the delayed visual. ._.
In Millionaire in Action, we have to be in groups of 10. The 3 of us were standing there, looking like foreveralone idiots until a group of people approached us. They were lively and I immediately took a liking to them. We still needed 2 members, and at last 2 somewhat reserved people joined us.
The girl beside me started to introduce herself; honestly I was pleasantly surprised (+ shocked) because I never would have imagined that someone can be this friendly. She was Shi Yin, I think. I am a loser when it comes to remembering Chinese names. ;_; She's from Chung Hua High School in Seremban and it took them an hour to reach Taylor's.
Then the girl beside her started to introduce herself as well - she was Hui Min, I think. I kept saying I think because I really don't remember their names clearly. QAQ So apparently, I found out that Hui Min was going to be in the same workshop as me, which was Fine Dining. YES!
Suddenly, I noticed someone pointing at me and I kinda purposely don't wanna look that way because it will be totally awkward. BUT HE NEVER STOPPED POINTING and so I had to look. Then the guy asked for my name, I replied and the girls beside me told me his name. Eric Lim. This one I remember. And if someone from Chung Hua saw this blog, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell them to add me in FB. ;_;
I immediately took a liking to Eric, surprisingly, as I was never one to acquaint myself with guys. Not especially strangers. I found his personality really fun, because he was casual and friendly. Then I befriended the girl next to Sherron too! I was really really excited because I was making friends. XD I used to be an introvert. ;_;
And then 3 people from each group have to be blindfolded and be the blind people. So, the 3 boys in my group unwillingly got forced to be the blind people. LOL Initially Eric pointed to me, Lay Si and Sherron, but I protested. How can I report if I can't see anything?! ;_; And every time someone mentioned Eric, I thought of my cousin of the same name, LOL, so it was weird for me to be hearing people saying his name.
We then have to lead the blind people to the stations and stuff, while finding for treasures. We did not actually find anything as we were one of the last groups to proceed because when everyone's coming out of the hall, it was literally human traffic. ;_; I went all the way to the basketball court with Sherron to find for the treasures and when we came back to the main building, Sherron heard someone calling our names.
Indeed. They were using the megaphone to call our names. OMG, I was so horrified when I heard our names being called out like a mother finding for her lost kid in a shopping mall. OTZ Even if we did not find any treasures, I sure got a lot out of exploring the place. XD That university is like HUMONGOUS.
At one of the stations, a member have to stuff marshmallows into his/her mouth and tries to talk. XD Eric got pushed to be the one to do it. It was quite funny when I see other groups do it too! I couldn't stop laughing!
The guys on the left railings couldn't stop laughing either. It was so hilarious because we couldn't hear him speak! But we made it through this station. The girl committee (in white, handing marshmallows) was really pretty~ *_*
After the game, everyone started to go away, leaving the blindfolded Eric alone. I was about to go too, because I thought that Lay Si had wanted to guide him, but she started leaving with Sherron. I was the last one with him. OTZ
I didn't know what to do then because I wasn't accustomed to holding hands. All the girls before who had guided him held his hands, so I was like wth... ;_; And so, I did what I thought was best - I held his arm. But when I was starting to walk, he paused and then fidgeted with his hand and then held my hand instead. I was like: *speechless*. But I begun walking. I'm sorry that he kept banging into things because of my bad guidance. T^T I didn't know what to do, so I panicked. I'm not good with boys...
I kept Sherron on my other arm so that I wouldn't feel so embarrassed. Then Lay Si came and joined us; she held Eric's other hand. I was actually surprised at how casual she was with boys. I kinda envy her... ;_; Sherron kept asking me to let go of his hand, LOL, and she was behaving hysterically. So I relaxed my hand and thought to slowly go away because Lay Si was already guiding him, but no, he tightened his grip. Sherron got even more hysterical when I said he's not releasing the grip. XD
Lay Si was holding his left hand and he suddenly said, 'The person on my left must be someone who does housework.' How true indeed. We started laughing soundlessly because we didn't want him to know who was holding his hands. Then I feel worried; what if my hands felt like someone who doesn't do housework at all... Hey, I do wash my plates, utensil, cups, etc, okay!!
A lot of things happened that I can't find the time to write all of it down. But for sure, this is the first time I had held hands with a guy that firmly and for that long. Or even possibly the first time ever too. It was a new experience and luckily, it wouldn't feel as embarrassing holding hands with a stranger. Plus, he was blindfolded. LOL
Oh, and we have to do the Harlem Shake too. ;_; Then we reunited with D and Li Ying and we went for lunch. I had a tomato spaghetti with a jar of cincau for only RM7.90. So cheap!!
Me with my set meal - credits to my sis for the secret cam. LOL
I wonder why when you secretly take a pic of someone,
they'll either be frowning (like me) or doing something weird.
Then the 3 of us went for Workshop while D + LY went for Millionaire in Action. They became the blind people. LOL I pity them. Sis said that being the blind person was really hard and confusing. No doubt. ;_;
Workshop was alright; we just sat around, looked at slides and listened to the lecturer. He's a funny guy, and he can make you look stupid. ._. Luckily, I was not a target. When a guy's phone suddenly sounded, he sang, 'Happy birthday... to you, you were born in... the zoo,' in this slow, lullaby version. It was quite funny I must admit, but had I been the guy, that would be embarrassing as hell.
The setting of the table~ <3
We were in this really stunning 'restaurant' which I think is the
training place for students.
It is called Thyme, I think.
Nobody dared to touch anything until the lecturer said that nothing will happen when we touch it. LOL We did pretend to hold the water goblet, wine glass and fork and stuff. And we pretended to eat too.
The bar; I'm sorry for the quality.
Lighting was dim.
I mean, romantic atmosphere anyone??
Workshop went by really quickly that I almost felt disappointed. I was actually quite touched when I went inside and 2 girls whom were in my group called out to me and invited me to sit with them. Touched to the max.. ;_; But then Lay Si and Sherron were already with me, so we took the table behind them because they insisted that we sit either behind or beside them. We had initially wanted the table right in the middle. LOL
After that, we reunited again and went for the concert which would be held from 6 to 11. We never got down to the concert area but instead stayed upstairs and watch from the balcony. The committee announced that someone named Jason Chen or something would make and appearance and he is supposingly famous. But I've never heard of him. Nevermind; so we waited for his appearance. BUT HE NEVER CAME OUT. At least I didn't heard him coming out.
There was this guy whose singing was like SUPER BEAUTIFUL.
I took a picture of him, even though my phone is low battery-ing
to the point that the screen went black, just
because I admire him so much. *_*
He sung a ballad.
Then came a lady who sung the song my aunt used as her ringtone. Not sure if she's the real singer or just a cover. Either way, she was fantastic.
She's so pretty~ <3
I took photos of people I really really admire,
so if I took a pic of you when my phone is low battery-ing,
you are lucky and can be sure that I like you. XD
There's a K-Pop performance by students and after seeing so many dance covers, I summed up that they are REALLY GREAT. There's that unfaltering energy and passion that I love so much!
Accidentally captured this when someone is using flash!
Lucky moment!! <3
After a while, things do get boring. So we entertained ourselves by doing weird things. LOL
*pokes*
I am doing this often because I'm afraid that my shirt will betray me.
The screaming singer.
He was singing a rock song, but honestly his screaming
sounds like screeching.
That's why Lay Si was covering her ears. LOL
Random thought - I don't have much of a butt and waist shape. LOL
Chatting, hanging out, spitting nonsense, etc etc.
Me attempting a self-shot with the night view.
With assistance from Sherron. XD
I seriously love the view at dawn and night in Taylor's. It somehow reminds me of the ship and buildings in Spirited Away with the yellow lights! It feels so magical. <3
And I shall show you some pictures of Taylor's!
Thyme~
My finger!! Some of the pics have it too - I am so sorry... OTZ
This is my favourite part because of the 'chessboard' floor!
This is where we do the Harlem Shake.
The library. It is four levels high.
I WANT THIS LIBRARY.
This is where the marshmallow game takes place.
I am attracted to the thingies hanging on top.
It looks so cool!!
I contemplated whether I should give the elevators a go.
Pink sky~ <3
<3
<3 <3
<3 <3 <3
Of course the night view is so much more stunning than in pictures!
I don't know if you can see them clearly or not because my phone's not that great. ;_; We went home at about 8 and I was so freaking tired. The next day my body ached like as if I ran a marathon the day before. Just for the morning.
A self-shot during Millionaire in Action.
Night shot by sis with cute people!! <3
And that's all for today! It took me about an hour to write this post + talking to classmates + playing Cafe Life in FB. I'm doing a shift of Latte, Lemon Tart, Latte, Lemon Tart, Latte, Lemon Tart...
Bye! XD
